Rooms were okay but they need better cleaning, spotted cobwebs in some corners. Mattress wasn't comfortable. Complimentary breakfast was surprisingly good. Location was good because it's close to everything. For the price you can't beat it. Also dog friendly which was helpful.
Clean basic no frills ...beds not great. Water had weird smell. Bring extra blankets...but heat nice and high when we checked in. This is a motel style... not hotel like the QI I'm used to.
I think beside building's being old, it was more like poorly maintained. Paid the same amount of money which would get a decent room in any other place, but chose this because it was the closest to the place we were going. And room were just terrible, all feeling was just horrible. Dirty furniture, low quality bed, not to mention our "non-smoking" room stroke us with the strong odor the minute we stepped in. Loud neighbor rooms, people hanging out on the rails, it was straight from the hood. The guy who checked us in on the night shift, couldn't do more to tell the world that he wasn't enjoying what he was doing. Only good thing I saw was, the guy who was preparing breakfast, was very polite, genuine, and was really trying his best to serve the guests. Definitely book the Days Inn or something.
I am only 5 staring this place because of Greg the front counter guy. I believe he is assistant manager he works the front desk on swing shifts. But he was awesome ever time I went. Treat him with respect and he will bend over backwards to help you far and beyond his duties. I know this from personal experience.
I booked this place 2 weeks prior to my trip because the pics on the website were very nice. My family arrived on site and were enraged at the quality of the exterior of the hotel. It's looks old and raggedy. This place was just disgusting. We didn't even bother checking in, we cancelled the reservations and went to the Comfort Inn where we slept very well. The lady at the front desk was very understanding tho that was the only good thing That I can say about this place. False advertising!!!!!!!!
